Medowie resident Ben Niland sent us this shot via Twitter from the Koala Trail, a series of 51 brightly painted statues. 

Hello Koalas was inspired by the highly successful Larkin With Toads public art project in Hull, UK, in 2010, after it gained the attention of Arts and Health Australia.

These public pieces, painted by celebrities and community groups, help encourage visitation to the koala hospital.
