The Awards provide a forum for local businesses to showcase both their level of customers service and business excellence and on the night actually have the opportunity to lift awareness of their business as there were over 400 people in attendance.
We are also so pleased that many of our members received an award and in particularly DJ Cooper Accounting, who won the overall award.
The Awards are well recognised by the TBC as a measure of the quality of the many participating businesses in Port Stephens and this sits very comfortably with TBC’s efforts to support ongoing education of local business operators to achieve excellence.
The TBC in fact also conducts various business development forums such as business breakfasts and other forms of business training to assist in the development and growth of local businesses and theses awards can only strengthen their competitive edge.
In fact the Business Awards presentation night also offers a great business networking opportunity.
It is so important for local businesses to network amongst themselves to provide the scope for cross marketing and the development of business growth and to do business locally.
In fact in a tourism environment such as Port Stephens this forum also provides the opportunity to meet complementary businesses where there is scope to develop packages which enhance business growth.
The TBC strongly supports the Ports Stephens Business Awards which are an integral component of local business training and development.
They provide an invaluable opportunity to showcase business skills and product range and complement the services provided by the Tomaree Business Chamber (www.tomareebusinesschamber.com.au).
