The youngsters from Clarence Town and Eastern Suburbs Green did a terrific job despite the conditions at Cricketers Oval in Maitland.
The Clarence Town boys were full of encouragement for each other as bowler after bowler struggled to keep the ball on the pitch.
The young Griffins clocked the scoreboard over as anything hit with the wind quickly raced to the boundary.
But as for lost hats, a laugh as your mate chases his hats is too good to resist.
