The girls, aged 14, were found safe and well after a public appeal for information on Thursday morning.

They went missing from their home addresses in Raymond Terrace about 6.30pm on Wednesday.

Police were particularly concerned for one of the teenagers who needed daily medication for a medical condition.

“Due to their age and vulnerability police and family have concerns for their welfare,’’ police said in a statement at the time.
