More than 200 rugby union players, playing in under-17s and 18s, are expected to take part in the two-day championship event.
All the action will be held at Tomaree Sports Complex, Nelson Bay, between May 13 and 14.
The Hunter Junior Rugby Union under-17 girls will face Illawarra Zone JRU in the first game of the girls competition, at 8am on Saturday.
Under-17 is the only age group with a girl’s competition.
The boys championship has competitions for the under-12 through to under-18 age divisions.
The Hunter and Illawarra girls will also face teams from Mid North Coast, Central West and Central North.
The Hunter Junior Rugby Union under-17 boys team will also kick off their competition on Saturday, against Far North Coast at 8.30am.
Central Coast, Central West, Mid North Coast and Central North will field teams in under-17 boys.
In under-18s, Hunter Junior Rugby Union play the first game of the day against Central Coast at 8.50am.
Also in the competition is teams from Central West, Central North and Mid North Coast.
In under-17s, the main round games will be played throughout Saturday.
The finals games will be played on Sunday.
Under-18s will only play the main round games on Saturday.
Under-12, 13 and 14 boys will play their competitions in Nowra on May 20.
Under-15 and 16s played on May 6 in Crescent Head.
