“It was fantastic closing off Stockton Street,” Ryan Palmer, president of Tomaree Business Chamber and a festival organiser, said.
“Events like this need a festival feel. It's about the bunting in the street, it's about market stalls coming along, the shopkeepers opening up and putting something out on the street.”

Line dancing has become one of the greatest attractions of the Bluewater Country Music Festival. Check out the schedule to see where the line dancers will be, and when, during the festival.

Murray’s Brewery have brewers a Bluewater Pale Ale especially for the festival. It is only available on tap from the Bobs Farm brewery. Throughout June, Murray’s will also be releasing a range of dark beers.

2017 Mrs Galaxy Australia winner Emilie Hardes, from Tanilba Bay, has been named as the festival’s ambassador.
“I feel blessed to have been given this opportunity, and to be able to promote my community,” Mrs Hardes said.
“I love talking and meeting with new people, and spreading the word about the dynamic part of the world we live in.”

In its 11th year, the festival has attracted the largest number of venues on record with two of them being cruise vessels.
To add something extra to this year’s festival, organisers have reintroduced Country Cruises.

Beccy Cole will headline Bluewater Country Music Festival.
Amber Lawrence has also signed on for the festival as an acoustic duo – not with Catherine Britt as expected – but Alyce Simmons.
TV talent quest sensations and country music’s answer to the boy band, Brothers3, are also signed on along with The Viper Creek Band from Newcastle.

“I would love to come back,” Lawrence said. “Someone just needs to give me a call.”
