Talented Hunter and Central Coast students will shine this weekend at the region's 25th annual performing arts extravaganza, Star Struck.
The public school students will take centre stage at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre for four performances celebrating dance, music and drama across Friday and Saturday.
More than 3500 students from kindergarten to year 12 including a 500 voice choir and 60 piece orchestra will perform in the show, titled Shine On, which will reflect on the showcase's legacy and explore its future.
About 75,000 students have participated since the first event in 1992.
