The new Australian citizens originally hailed from South Africa, the United Kingdom, Philippines, Finland, Canada, Nigeria, New Zealand and the United States.
The ceremony was held in the Port Stephens Council chambers in Raymond Terrace, led by mayor Bruce MacKenzie.
