The Australian Beach Boys are heading to Port Stephens.
Greg Giancotti (vocals), Paul Layt (guitar), Michael Mammoliti (guitar), Will Szyszka (bass guitar, vocals) and Joe “Stix” Palumbo (drums) will tour their Australian Beach Boys Show to Soldiers Point Bowling Club on Saturday, August 19.
The show, which features hit after hit, delivers a real Beach Boys experience – from the striped blue and white shirts and Hawaiian flowers to exclusive replica instruments.
The group has spent hours producing an audio visual aspect to their show.
A big screen plays original Beach Boys film clips in time to the live sound, giving the audience a nostalgic trip down memory lane.
It recreates the amazing wall of sound experience that original Beach Boys member Brian Wilson so successfully crafted.
“Our big 60’s TV will fill your senses with Beach Boys nostalgia,” the group posted to its Facebook page about the Soldiers Point show.
“Come and experience something wonderful.”
Tickets to the Soldiers Point show, available from the club or by phoning 4982 7173, cost $20 per person.
The Examiner has one double pass to the show, which starts at 7.30pm.
To win, send your name and contact details in an email titled “Beach Boys” to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The winner of the Examiner’s double pass will be notified by 5pm on Wednesday, August 16.
