Emergency services have responded to two separate crashes at Nelsons Plains on Friday afternoon.

Police, Ambulance and the NSW Rural Fire Service responded to the first crash between two cars shortly after 3.30pm at the intersection of Hinton and Seaham roads.
Paramedics attended to four occupants. An elderly woman and a child were transferred to John Hunter Hospital via ambulance along with a man in his 80s who sustained abrasions to his chest.
The fourth occupant was assessed at the scene and was discharged.
The second incident, involving two cars and three occupants, happened about 4pm at the corner of Seaham and Raymond Terrace Roads, Nelsons Plains.
One of the occupants, a woman in her 50s, was transported to Maitland Hospital with neck and chest pain.
Another occupant, a woman in her early 60s, was transported to John Hunter Hospital suffering back pain.
Emergency services were still on the scene near to 5pm.
