The chance to perform at the concert has been a long time coming for the small school, where only 32 kids are currently enrolled.
Music teacher Helen Tuyl said every student in the primary school is in the show.
“It is rare we get a group of kids who are this good,” she said. “So I thought we had to audition.”
This is the second time the school has been accepted, the last being seven years ago.
“It is a big deal for the students as they are such a small school with only 32 kids and 12 of them are infant kids.” Tuyl said.
The school will also be holding a cracker night fundraiser on August 26 at 600 Seaham Road, Nelsons Plains to raise funds for the event. the night will feature fireworks, rides and a barbeque.
Tickets for the evening start at $5 for a child, $12 per adult, $8 for a senior/pensioner or $20 for a family pass which is an entry for five. Tickets and ride wristbands are available at trybooking.com/RAIT.
