Lemon Jam, in its fourth year, is a free all ages, monthly music event held on the waterfront at Lemon Tree Passage.
A different band takes to the Henderson Park stage each month.
Gasolene is a five piece rock band from Port Stephens.
The band is made up with five mates who share a love of playing rock music from across the decades.
Rick keeps the beat on drums while Richie builds the bass to keep the music pumping.
Greg grinds the rhythm while Andy lets it rip on lead.
All this builds the foundation for Trish’s vocals to project the song far and wide for your musical pleasure.
The band performs the music of Lenny Kravitz, Powderfinger, AC/DC, Skyhooks, Divinyls, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Joan Jett, David Bowie, Baby Animals and Lynyrd Skynyrd just to name a few.
Lemon Jam also offers children’s activities and raffles, but the town of Lemon Tree Passage has more to offer.
There is an enclosed sea swimming area off the park to enjoy, as well as cafes and takeaway shops nearby. The park also has public barbecues.
The next Lemon Jam will be held on Sunday, September 24. It begins at noon and winds down at 4pm.
This Lemon Jam will include for the first time an artisan market.
