About 200 homes remain without electricity as a result of strong winds.
Ausgrid crews remained on the scene and Raymond Terrace late into the afternoon to repair the complex fault.
It estimated that power would be restored to the last homes by 7pm.

A large tree brought down powerlines in Raymond Terrace on Friday morning cutting electricity to about 1700 homes.
The work will continue into the afternoon to restore power.
Strong winds have buffeted the area as complex low pressure system moves over the state.
Wind gusts have exceeded 70kmh at the Williamtown weather monitoring station since 9am.
The very same system has brought with it cold conditions – WIlliamtown just managing to crack 15.3 degrees at 1pm on the way to a forecast maximum of 17. There has even been snow to parts of the central tablelands.
Ausgrid crews arrived in Raymond Terrace shortly after 10am on Friday morning.
They worked through the morning as they aimed to restore power by 3pm.
Ausgrid thanked its customers for their patience while it carried out the work.
