Skye Gyngell's restaurant in a London plant nursery has dirt floors, wobbly chairs, toilets in a shed and a Michelin star. Yet being the first Australian female chef to receive the world's most coveted food gong has turned out to be no great blessing for the 47-year-old. Or as she puts it less politely, "It's been a curse."
