Clean up organisers Medowie Tidy Towns is calling on residents to register on the day after 8.30am at the Medowie Community Centre.
"Medowie has officially been registered as a participant in the 25th anniversary and we are encouraging business, sporting, church, schools, youth, service, gardening and land care groups to participate," organiser Geoff Dingle said.
"Groups that clean up around their regular sports and meeting venues would be making a major contribution to keeping our community safe and looking great.
"And by engaging junior members we are reinforcing the notion that we take responsibility for our work and play areas, demonstrating care for our environment and the appearance of our community."
Mr Dingle said groups that have commitments on March 1 could participate in advance and that collected waste could be stored.
He said that groups could select their own areas, or co-ordinators would provide suggestions for suitable areas. He can be contacted on 4982 8468.
