The surf club will purchase new equipment with a grant worth just over $5000 from round two of the Stronger Communities Program.
The All Saints Church hall receives $8000 for air conditioning.
“This grant is part of the $45 million Stronger Communities Program, which is aimed at delivering social benefits through small capital works projects in local communities,” patron senator for the Hunter Arthur Sinodinos said.
He made the announcement on Thursday with Liberal candidate for Paterson Karen Howard.
“The grants will improve local community participation, cohesion and contribute to vibrant and viable communities,” Ms Howard said.
