Principal Mrs Louise Blakemore said the P and C, particularly over the past four years, has done an amazing job in fundraising.
“The whole community has been very supportive of the school and in the last three years the P and C has raised around $30,000 to help buy equipment for the school,” she said.
The latest purchase includes six refrigerators – at a cost of around $3000 for every classroom – along with an interactive whiteboard for the library.
“With this extreme heart we’ve been having it means parents can still pack drinks and lunches such as salads and know they will be still cold at lunch time,” said Mrs Blakemore.
P and C Treasurer Kerrie Salter said the committee was ”very productive”.
“It’s all for the children,” she said.
“The P and C just want to improve the school.”
