Outcasts Pipes and Drums, a kilted group of musicians bearing bagpipes and drums, performed at the Junction Inn Hotel at Raymond Terrace about noon.
Adam Wedmaier from the riverside hotel said the group contacted them on Thursday about performing on St Patrick’s Day.
“It was something a bit different,” he said.
A small band of Port residents dressed up in green and enjoyed a few cold brews at Seabreeze Hotel in Nelson Bay on Friday.
Shoal Bay Country Club is poised to hold a St Patrick’s Day dress up party from 8pm featuring DJ Delicious.
