The Port Stephens Police local area command management team has already met with residents in Raymond Terrace this year and will return to Medowie on May 25. The sessions replace the community stakeholder meetings attended by representatives alone.
“The sessions have been very well received by the public,” Port Stephens LAC crime prevention officer, Senior Constable, Alison Stewart said.
“People are able to share their concerns directly with the Commander, Acting Superintendent Wayne Humphrey.
“People really feel they are being heard at these sessions.”
Community members are invited to The Greenhouse Eatery, Pacific Dunes on Thursday, May 25, from 5pm.
