The state government-funded Business Connect Bus was designed to bring quality business advisors to the doorstep of business operators.
Port Stephens Council economic development coordinator Jane Perrin said it's a great opportunity for owners, managers and entrepreneurs to get free face-to-face business advice from the accredited advisors.
"It's always a good idea to seek quality advice from a professional, whether the business is a start-up, in the growth phase, or looking for tips on succession planning," Ms Perrin said.
"Advisors are professionals with a broad range of skills and experience, who give confidential and independent advice about any stage of the business life cycle.
"These free sessions will be held between 9am and 3pm on Friday and it's important to get online and book a time as soon as possible.”
Ms Perrin says providing access to free business advice is an important function of the council.
"We're proud to be able to bring the Business Connect Bus to our local businesses in partnership with NSW Department of Industry," she said.
"The [council’s] economic development unit can provide a range of support services for businesses year-round.”
