Night roadworks will be carried out along Richardson Road starting from Sunday, September 17, and along Tomago Road from Sunday, September 24.
Repairs and maintenance of Richardson Road’s surface will be done between Nelson Bay Road at Salt Ash and Benjamin Lee Drive in Raymond Terrace.
Weather permitting, works along Richardson Road will be carried out for five nights.
It is expected to be completed by Thursday, September 21.
Repairs and maintenance of Tomago Road’s surface will be carried out between Masonite Road and School Drive.
The work is expected to be completed by Tuesday, September 26.
Work along both roads will begin at 7pm and finish about 4.30am.
Ports Stephens Council is carrying out essential maintenance work on behalf of Roads and Maritime Services.
For the safety of workers and motorists, lane closures and a reduced 40 km/h speed limit will be in place while the maintenance and repairs is being carried out along both roads.
Motorists are advised to keep to the reduced speed limit and follow the directions of traffic control and signs.
