The Tomaree Trotters are gearing up for their next adventure run, which will take in the best of what Port Stephens has to offer – the beach and bush.
The group of casual runners will hold a Bush ‘n’ Beach Trail Run on Sunday, October 15.
Starting on the beach near the Fingal Bay surf club, runners will be able to take in ocean views before moving into Tomaree National Park and experiencing the bush trails the area has to offer.
The cost to take part in the run is $20.
While the run is open to the public, runners will need to become a member of Tomaree Trotters.
The cost is $5 to become a member for the year.
There will be two Bush ‘n’ Beach Trail Run lengths – a 16km or 6km (for those aged 16 and under and walkers).
Bush ‘n’ Beach Trail Run numbers are limited.
Registrations are to be complete by 10pm on October 13.
A link to the online registration form can be found in the Tomaree Trotters Facebook group.
Bibs are to be collected from the grassed area near the Long Boat Cafe at 8am on Sunday.
A 15cm or larger ziplock bag and water bottle are mandatory.
For those doing the 16km run, a mobile phone is also mandatory.
