Santa will arrive in the Terrace by Batmobile about 10.30am on Sunday, November 12.
He will be part of a parade, which will be led by the Irrawang High School Drum Corp.
The parade will end at the Bourke Street car park near the shopping centre.
Classic cars will fill the adjacent field for a Show N Shine. Read more about the Show N Shine here.
The day will also pay tribute to emergency services such as the police, NSW Fire and Rescue, Rural Fire Service, SES and organisations including Raymond Terrace Lions and the Men’s Shed.
MarketPlace Raymond Terrace centre manager Colleen Mulholland-Ruiz said there would be something for the whole family such as live music and free activities including dodgem cars, jumping castle, bungee tramps, rock climbing wall and animals from Oakvale Farm.
“Our annual Santa’s Arrival event is always a signal that the Christmas season is here, and it really gets people in the holiday spirit,” she said.
“Again this year we’re also using the event as an opportunity to recognise and support our local groups and the important work they do within the community.
“All entry fees to the Show N Shine go directly to the Leukaemia Foundation. This is a tremendous sign of support from the local car enthusiasts.
“There’ll also be displays from local organisations, for people to learn more about how the Lions, and Men’s Shed contribute to our community.”
There will be activities inside and outside of the centre.
Funds raised on the day will go to the Leukaemia Foundation. The event will begin at 10am.
