The paintings are exhibiting at Hunter Region Botanic Gardens until January 7.
The Gardens are a source of inspiration for Ms Humphreys, who is also an avid gardener.
Ms Humphreys is known for her porcelain painting, particularly teapots, and of wild flowers.
“I grew up in the bush surrounded by wild flowers,” she said.
“I’ve always drawn them. When I started out porcelain painting I just started doing wild flowers.”
Her status as a wild flower painter was cemented when, many years ago, she appeared on an episode of Bourke’s Backyard.
Ms Humphreys was spotted by camera covering the Morpeth teapot show painting wild flowers on teapots.
“They asked me ‘where are you getting the idea from? There’s no flowers around’. I just said ‘I see them in my head’.”
A series of 14 paintings are on show at the Gardens.
The Gardens are closed during the week of Christmas and New Years.
