The TRRA had a meeting scheduled for Monday, February 12 to discuss the delivery plan for the Nelson Bay Strategy and building heights.
As Port Stephens Council has moved the public exhibition period for this strategy to later in February, the topic will be discussed at a meeting scheduled for Tuesday, March 6.
Monday’s meeting will go ahead as planned, but the discussion will be focused on other issues the TRRA has been following in the past four months.
Areas of discussion will include Soldiers Point Marina, Mambo Wetlands koala habitat plus updates on meetings the group has had with with key council staff and councillors about the Nelson Bay Strategy, Greater Newcastle Plan and several Port Stephens-based development applications.
The general meeting on February 12 will be held at Nelson Bay Bowling Club in the Crows Nest room.
It will start at 7pm.
TRRA offers a way for the combined communities of the Tomaree Peninsula to stay informed on issues that could potentially have an impact on their lives in the future.
New members are welcome to attend the TRRA meeting.
