The 18-year-old man was arrested after he was allegedly recorded driving 209km/h on the Pacific Highway at 10.30am on Friday. He faced court later that day, where he was refused bail because the alleged offence was a breach of prior bail conditions.

The Raymond Terrace man was charged with driving recklessly and in a dangerous manner, not displaying his p-plates and exceeding the speed limit by more than 45km/h.
He will face court again on April 18.
