Up to eight F/A-18 Hornet aircraft from Number 77 Squadron will take to the skies until about 11pm each night of the flying operation, which the Department of Defence said was “essential” training.
Between March 6 and 8, the flying operations will be supported by up to two E-7A Wedgetail aircraft until 11pm each night, except for the night of March 7 when aircraft activity will continue until about 11.30pm.
