Council workers will remove weeds, spray and fertilise the cemetery’s grounds in March and May to promote better grass coverage.
Anna Bay Cemetery, located along Nelson Bay Road, will be closed to the public on:
- Friday, March 16
- Thursday, March 29
- Friday, May 4 and
- Friday, May 18
Burials will not take place on these days.
Signage will be placed at the entrance to the cemetery alerting visitors to the closure.
