NEW LOOK: The doors to the Examiner's office are open once again following two weeks of refurbishment work to fix damage caused by heavy rainfall.

The Port Stephens Examiner’s office in Raymond Terrace is open and operating as usual following a two week closure to repair damage caused by heavy rain.

Two downpours at the end of February caused damage the roof of the Examiner’s office and minor flooding in the building, forcing the closure of the office.

After a two week refurbishment period, the Examiner’s doors reopened last Friday, March 9.

The office is open between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

To contact the Examiner’s staff, phone the office on (02) 4983 8400.

To place a classified in the Examiner, phone 131 696.

For editorial inquiries, phone the Examiner’s office and ask to speak with a journalist or email portstephens@fairfaxmedia.com.au.

The Examiner thanks the Port Stephens community for their patience during the closure period.
