The annual Tilligerry Motorama is gearing up for yet another spectacular day of classic cars, muscle cars, vintage vehicles, bikes, smooth rides and everything in between on Sunday May 20 at Lemon Tree Passage.

The long standing event, hosted by Tilligerry Auto Club, has become iconic among motoring fans across the Peninsula and well beyond.

Since it’s beginning in 2006 with just 8 cars on show, Motorama has quickly earned its place on the calendar for one of the best places to show and view some outstanding vehicles.

Not only that, the proceeds of the day are donated to charity.

This year the Motorama raffle takings will be split between 5 kids clubs; Tilligerry Little Athletics, Panthers Rugby League, Tilligerry Soccer club, Tilligerry Scouts and the Stingrays Swimming Club.

Takings from the Raffle will once again be donated to the Paediatric Oncology Unit at John Hunter Hospital.

With $130,000 donated to date, club president Ian Jones is looking forward to seeing a good turn out for the day and another healthy donation for charity.

“As long as the sun keeps shining it’s promising to be a great day.

“We’ve got 3 raffles this year, with a fantastic main prize of a one hour flight in the simulator at the RAF base.

“There also $1500 worth of fuel to be won, along with a range of other vouchers and prizes.

“There will be stalls, plenty of food, lots of things to keep the kids happy and of course some spectacular cars and bikes on show.”

With over 400 vehicles expected to be on display on the day, it’s still not too late to get polishing and drive your pride and joy through the gate for just $10, or just head along for a great family day out.

General admission requires a gold coin. Gates open at 9am.
