The Golf State Pennants are an annually-held tournament hosted by Croquet NSW, with final series to determine divisional champions hosted at Mackey Park in Sydney each June.
Nelson Bay boast two squads vying for the top spots against other state powerhouses, after the undefeated third squad downed Maitland, EDSACC and Toronto in their group. They will be joined by the area’s second division team, who defeated Newcastle National Park and Maitland on their way to qualification with a 2 win, 2 loss record.
Nelson Bay will represent the Hunter region in the finals, and will face Cheltenham (North Sydney), Wollongong (South) and Sutherland (South Sydney).
