Soldiers Point Hall
The hall is open for people who have left of been evacuated from the Tilligerry Peninsula fire.
Access to emergency workers and Port Stephens Council staff will be provided at the hall.
Staff and workers will look to place people displaced by the fire into one of Port Stephens Council’s holiday parks.
Club Lemon Tree
Residents and visitors to the Tilligerry Peninsula (Salt Ash, Tanilba Bay, Mallabula, Lemon Tree Passage) that are unable to leave due to the road closures can seek shelter and information at Club Lemon Tree.
Henderson Park
Firefighters are helping to move people and caravans from Koala Shores Port Stephens Caravan Park to the Lemon Tree Passage boat ramp in Henderson Park.
Lemon Tree Passage Pharmacy
The pharmacy is opened for emergencies.
Church of Christ, Salt Ash
The doors to the Salt Ash church are open to Tilligerry residents unable to get to their homes due to the road closures.
The church is offering a free sausage sizzle, tea, coffee, water, toilets, and even face painting for children.
