Mambo Wetlands event

Mambo-Wanda Wetlands Conservation Group will host a rally and fund-raising event on Sunday.

The event will be held near the site of the land that the group has been advocating to return to public ownership since it was sold by the state government to a developer in 2016.

From 11am, members of the group will unite at 109 Foreshore Drive, Salamander Bay.

Members of the community are invited to attend.

The event will give residents a chance to learn the latest in the fight to put the Mambo Wetlands parcel of land back in public ownership.

The event will include a barbecue, sausage sizzle and music by Chowder Keg.

LJ Hooker charity dinner

LJ Hooker Nelson Bay believes the real estate business is not just about houses – it is about community.
