The man who mastered the ‘up and under’ will be joined by record breaking English Channel swimmer Cyril Baddock as guest speakers for the family fun day.
Bowls will be an optional fours format followed by a roast lunch plus plenty of prizes, lucky team draws, raffles and auction items.
Dress is mufti with your favourite NRL team colours.
Despite suffering a stroke in 2002, Peard turned his energies into helping others and with a million funny stories from his footy days he continues to visit people in ill health at their homes or in nursing homes and appear at Men of League functions.
His good friend and fellow Sydneysider Cyril Baddock is best known for tackling the English Channel at age 70 in the record time of 12 hours and 45 minutes in 2014.
Bookings can be made at the club or by contacting Richard Girvan on 4981 1272.
