Entered this year in the Building, Construction or Renovation category, Polytherm are proud installers of ecoFINISH, a cutting edge, flexible solution that takes the inconvenience and hassle out of restoring concrete and fibreglass pools; and for coating new concrete pools.
Polytherm was established in July 2016 by two mates in Port Stephens – Craig Power and Scott Mewett – after a visit to the USA and meeting the people from ecoFINISH.
“After seeing their products and colour range we knew that we had to be involved with them,” Mr Power said. “We have customers all over NSW in the domestic and commercial pool market, from small spas to major pools.”
As a business operator Mr Power said it was a pleasant surprise to be nominated.
“For the team, it has installed a sense of pride in the business and ourselves and we are all proud to tell family, friends and customers about this achievement,” Mr Power said. “It's reward for the many hours, weeks and months of sacrifice.
“We’re a small team, still less than 10 people, and offer the personal touch. This is why we have such a good rapport with all of our customers. We always strive to provide a professional service and are genuine good blokes.”
Evidence of that rapport comes from customers like David and Wendy Rosato.
“Thank you to Craig and his team at Polytherm. They have just revitalised our swimming pool for us and we could not be happier with the result,” they said.
“From the very first contact with Craig nothing has been a problem. His team turned up on site as planned, kept the whole job under a giant tent to keep the mess contained and just worked from early morning until late afternoon every day, even on weekends.”
Mark V Psillakis echoed that sentiment: “True to their word and very efficient. Highly recommended!”
When potential customers meet with Polytherm, they know they will be getting a personalised service, a professional job and a very stress-free experience.
“We offer a free consultation, support through our Facebook page, website, phone calls and of course, by face-to-face conversation,” Mr Power said.
“Our families have grown up here and it is where we chose to make our business and lifestyle. Anyone that’s visited Port Stephens wants to move here, but it’s only us lucky few that call Port Stephens ‘home’.”
