Thousands turned out to Longworth Park to celebrate the industries the town was built on – oysters and timber. Later, festival-goers headed up to the Karuah RSL for the festival’s final woodchopping events and for the kick-on party.
The fish were biting for the annual children’s fishing competition hosted by the Karuah Motor Yacht Club, conditions were pristine for the popular duck race down the river and once again, the woodchopping and oyster eating competitions were fiercely contested.
