The festival will include a week of events to showcase the people and places on the peninsula and will end with a large community celebration in Henderson Park at Lemon Tree Passage on November 17.
“The festival is about community working together,” organiser Fran Corner said.
This year the festival will include a trip to Tahlee to pay homage to the historical links between the Tilligerry and the small coastal village.
Koala Ferries will charter the trip on November 14. A group of 20 people are required for the trip to go ahead, which will include lunch at Tahlee House. Book now with Koala Ferries or Ms Corner on 0407 374 384.
As part of the festival, Tilligerry Art Gallery will feature a special exhibition and walks will be held at Tanilba House.
In Henderson Park on November 17 there will be markets, a fairground, community group displays, music, food, fireworks, a sail past and cultural activities.
Any Tilligerry community groups or market stall holders wishing to be part of the festival are encouraged to phone Ms Corner.
“We’re looking for more events through the week to add to the schedule,” Ms Corner said.
