The Port’s five representatives are Sharon McReynolds, Lynne Thompson and Kate Mathews, from the Raymond Terrace club, and Pamela Stephens and Jan Sutherland from Soldiers Point.
The Terrace ladies will make up part of the opens country side, while the Soldiers Point couple will play with the seniors country team.
Soldiers Point club bowls director Terry Antrum said that the three-test series would pit a selection of ladies city teams against ladies country teams.
“The event will be played in the format of one rink of fours featuring the under 25s, two rinks of fours from each of the opens and seniors squads,” Antrum said.
“The first test will kick off on Saturday at 9am, the second test will follow at 1pm, while the final test will be held on Sunday starting at 9am.
“This is a selection event with all players vying for a spot in the NSW state women's squad.”
