The 15th annual Tastes at the Bay food, wine and jazz festival was promised to be the biggest yet, and by all accounts it appeared to deliver.
Festival-goers packed into Magnus, Stockton and Yacaaba streets throughout the weekend to visit the 60 stalls offering a wide variety of food, beverages and handicrafts, enjoy music on the two stages and roaming singers, and the creations from chefs in the Tastes Kitchen.
While the mercury peaked at a very hot 35 degrees on Saturday, conditions cooled on Sunday, allowing the thousands of visitors to move at a more leisurely pace.
Port regulars were impressed with the outcome, many describing the festival as one of the Bay’s best.
