The high tea was organised by Sandy Sabrowski as a way to thank the volunteer firefighters for their efforts in keeping the community safe.
The money will go towards the RFS brigade’s Christmas party.
“We had locals from Medowie to Fingal Bay to help raise money… to say thank you for doing such an amazing job to keep us safe,” Ms Sabrowski said.
“We had Bill from Tilligerry RFS give us a talk on what all they do.
“We are so lucky to live in a place with amazing people ready to help 24/7.”
Ms Sabrowski thanked Matt, Lin and the Little Nel team for putting together the high tea, and donating a gift voucher, plus Woolworths at Salamander Bay for its donation of wish cards.
