The young and young at heart lined Bourke Street and the lane behind MarketPlace Raymond Terrace to see Santa, who rode in with help from RAAF Base Williamtown, and his parade of friends.
Irrawang High School Drum Corps lead the parade, which included school children, dance groups, beloved television and movie characters, a Christmas bunny, MarkeeP and Batman in the Batmobile.
Santa rolled into town on board a RAAF Bushmaster troop carrier.
The parade made its way down the lane off Bourke Street and into the shopping centre.
Once the parade procession wrapped up, the drum corps and children spent the day performing on stage on the sportsground outside the centre for the big community day and Show n Shine.
More to come.
