That is how Peter Lazarus described the singer’s gig at Shoal Bay Country Club on Saturday night.
“Shoal Bay Country club was pumping once again for what can only be described as a true Shannon Noll show,” Mr Lazarus, the club’s marketing manager, said.
“A lively performance with brilliant vocals which certainly lived up to the hype.
“It was great to see Nollsie pop back into the Country Club again on Sunday and we even spotted him getting involved with the kids disco.”
Noll first came to prominence as runner-up of the first season of Australian Idol in 2003.
Since then the polarising cult figure has released five albums, the most recent being Unbroken.
The Shoal Bay show was part of Noll’s Unbroken tour.
The next big act set to perform at the Shoal Bay venue is The Angels.
The rock legends are currently in the middle of a national tour to celebrate the 40th anniversary of their seminal album Face To Face.
To mark the anniversary of the band’s second ever album, released in 1978, The Angels are touring Face II Face – and it will land in Shoal Bay on November 23.
Other acts on the ‘coming soon’ list include Melbourne four-piece British India on December 15, Pete Murray on January 11 and the Screaming Jets on January 17.
Murray, who performed in Shoal Bay in July, set the club’s record for the quickest selling show. He will return in the New Year, bringing his sun-soaked coastal holiday tour, PM3 Summer Sessions, with him.
