Mulloway men Jay Pegler, Mick Dunn and Glen Lantry returned from Broughton Island with their bag limit of fish drifting over the gravel beds. Remember that the NSW Fisheries rules on mulloway have recently been altered limiting recreational fishers to one.

The water is warming up and the fish and crabs are getting restless as we drift towards Christmas. There is a real buzz in the air as reports are arriving thick and fast.
Duff tells me that the kingfish action along the Nelson Bay breakwall is full on. Pete Kunz and the boys aboard “Mistress” landed a 10 kilogram kingy then targeted the Anchorage for more success.
Stick baits, poppers, fresh and live baits are the way to go. Bream are also busy both inside and outside the breakwall.
Elsewhere Nic and Tony Young have been working Tilligerry Creek for cracker flathead while trumpeter whiting are filling the port west of Soldiers Point.
On the beach Old Schoie has been tormenting bream, whiting, salmon and the occasional mulloway off Stockton.
Thank you to all who attended my book launches at both Soldiers Point and Fingal. In total over 400 turned up to the occasions, which was great to see.
