Former and current primary and high school students, teachers, principals and staff mixed together on a day that showcased education on the Tomaree peninsula.
Tomaree Primary School combines its celebrations with a grand-friends day, as more than 540 students and grandparents enjoyed class performances (choral and ukulele), speeches and cake cutting.
The time capsule was opened and had material added to be reopened in 2028.
A full school assembly greeted visitors to the high school’s birthday celebrations, which also saw the induction of the 2019 school captains, student representative committee and a presentation on the history of the school and logo.
Among the many supporters on the day was Salamander Bay Woolworths.
