Castle Personnel will host a Bunnings barbecue at Taylors Beach on Monday to celebrate International Day of People with Disability.

The theme for this year’s event is empowering people with disabilities and ensuring inclusiveness and equality.

Castle’s regional manager Lynette Aitken said that they would not be asking for money for the sausage sizzle, however “we would be encouraging a gold coin donation with all proceeds going to Beyond Blue”.

“Beyond Blues is an Australian not-for-profit organisation working to address issues associated with depression, suicide, anxiety, and other related mental disorders which a lot of our participants experience,” she said.

Castle Personnel is also a not-for-profit organisation assisting people with disabilities and mental health/medical conditions prepare for work and find sustainable employment.
