CHILLED VIBES: Chilean born musician Nano, now based in Newcastle, will perform at Murray's Brewery's Vodka & Vibes in the Vines Festival on Sunday.

Murray’s Brewery will be in festival mode this weekend when it hosts its inaugural Vodka & Vibes in the Vines.

To celebrate the creation of its new vodka – adding to the vast range of Murray’s craft beer offerings – the Bobs Farm brewery will become festival central on January 19 and 20 offering live music, two new vodkas to try, masterclasses and food.

“Most people know us for our experimental beers, but we’ve recently begun experimenting with craft spirits too – and we’re loving it. So much so that we’ve created a new festival around one of our favourites, vodka,” brewery owner Murray Howe said.

“We figure partnering vodka with live music will create the perfect atmosphere for some chill out time with friends and family. And even if vodka is not your thing, there’s so much going on at Murray’s this January you’re still bound to have a great time anyway.”

Amy Fredes will perform her brand of chilled contemporary tunes on Saturday. Chilean born musician Nano will perform on Sunday. Both are free to watch.
