The seminar will be held as a joint initiative with community support worker Paul Pearton and Dr David Outridge, a GP of 20 years and now working full-time in addiction medicine.
Dr Outridge will introduce a series of substance addiction seminars, providing his insights into the link between drug use and mental health.
Topics include: What is ice? How does ice affect the brain? Is ice a growing concern? What can be done to help people having problems with ice? What’s the connection between drugs and mental health issues?
