Both the Worimi Conservation Lands and Samurai will shut until conditions ease, with the next assessment scheduled for Monday.
The NSW Office of Environment and Heritage said seas were forecast above four metres and wind gusts could reach 50 kilometres an hour.
The potent weather has also forced organisers to suspend the camping trial at Worimi Conservation Lands "until it is safe to resume".
"These temporary measures are in place for public safety, and that of the emergency service staff who might be required to provide emergency assistance," an Office of Environment and Heritage spokesman said.
"Commercial operators not using the beach front will still be operating."
The beaches will be reassessed early next week.
