The triathlon staged at One Mile offers three different races, but is well known for its superhero race.
The first event of the day is the sprint. Starting 8am it involves a 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run. The standard triathlon of a 1.5km swim, 40km bike and 10km run follows at 9.30am.
The super sprint, also known as the ‘enticer’, will start at 12.30pm. At 12.45pm all the superheroes will take off. Participants chart the same course – a 200m swim, 10km bike and 2km run.
The swim course takes place at One Mile Beach, the bike leg charts along Frost Road and Gan Gan Road and the run leg along Eucalyptus Drive at Anna Bay.
There will be road closures and speed restrictions around One Mile and Anna Bay on the day. To register, go to: eliteenergy.com.au
