Brooke McClymont and Adam Eckersley had no idea that the personal music project they started while their bands were on a break would turn into the success it has.

The married pair, who happen to be two of Australia's most acclaimed country music singers and musicians, last year released a self produced 10-track album called Adam and Brooke that soon peaked at number on the ARIA Country album. They were also nominated for Best Country Album at the 2018 ARIA Awards.
"We couldn't have asked for a better outcome," McClymont, who is perhaps best known as one third of the sister country act The McClymonts, said.
"We did a five month tour last year. Even in the five months, we drove across the Nullarbor, went up to Cairns, around Queensland, we kind of went everywhere but didn't get everywhere. So we felt like we needed to extend the tour."
Eckersley and McClymont released their debut album in February 2018, which featured hit singles Train Wreck and So Smooth. They released Nothing Left To Win early this year and announced that they will extend their Highway Sky tour through the first half of 2019, which will stop in Raymond Terrace in April.
"It's very exciting. We haven't played there before so it's going to be wonderful," McClymont said. "Raymond Terrace is really a local one for us."
The pair from the Central Coast, who are being supported on the tour by 2019 Toyota Star Maker winner Blake O’Connor, will perform at Raymond Terrace Bowling Club on April 13.
“Nothing Left to Win is a song I’m really proud of," Eckersley said. “It’s a good old cheating song which is based on a true story and it’s pretty raw. Hopefully it will strike a chord with anyone that has been in that situation.
“This album has been so much fun for both of us and we’ll definitely do another one in the future but who knows when. For now, we’re really excited to get our duo show back on the road this year and then get back into The McClymonts and Adam Eckersley Band projects after that.”
The tour follows a hugely successful Tamworth Country Music Festival for the pair who were nominated for four Golden Guitar Awards.
McClymont said the show provided insight into who the couple are, what their marriage is like, and some good old fashioned banter as well as music.
Tickets to the show are on sale now through the club and cost $25 each. Doors open 7.30pm.
